By buying our farm products you will be supporting an environmentally friendly way of farming, helping with the preservation of the countryside, the rural community & local economy, whilst promoting a good way of life for farm animals and sustainability of an Exmoor Hill Farm. - we love where we live.. No routine antibiotics or pesticides are used. You will also be receiving top quality, healthy food at a fair price to farmers & yourselves.

We are committed to maintaining the principles of organic farming,
caring for our animals & the quality of our produce, whilst
providing a personal service. We are 'hands on' & personally
guarantee our produce is born, reared, produced & selected
personally on & from our farm, and for animals' welfare
there is only a short journey to a local abattoir, then the
meat is hung - for beef a minimum of 4 weeks - all
prepared in the farm chill area,cut by our professional
butcher - packed & labelled by hand, to be delivered or
mail ordered, or collected by customers from our on site farm
shop.

ORGANIC ABERDEEN ANGUS BEEF
This farm has never had a case of BSE. Home bred beef from
our herd of suckler cows. Spend the year grazing the farm
calving outside naturally in the Autumn & Spring together
whilst grazing the clover rich pasture, they run in &
out of barns onto the fields during the winter, and are
fed silage or hay (no artificial fertilizers are used on
our forage feed), some cattle help with conservation on
the moor overlooking the sea by grazing in winter months.
'Mandarin' - Our pedigree AA Bull runs with the herd, he
is famous for being the bull used in the London parade for
the Queen Mother's 100th birthday celebration. Also now
joined by 'Smokey' and 'Eric' two younger A A bulls. |

FREE RANGE G - O - S PORK
From our British rare breed Gloucester Old Spot sows, with
GOS or a Duroc boar. The pigs live in the fields with arks
for shelter, producing piglets ( sometimes under the hedge!
) in family groups. They are naturally fed (GMO free), and
root about, graze, or wallow in a muddy puddle. Large straw
filled barns provide additional housing. The pork has a
wonderful taste & just the right amount of fat... for
real crackling! Hams & Bacon home cured. Sausages made
on the farm by Roger, with no preservatives and a touch
of organic seasoning, or gluten free for those with wheat
allergies. |

ORGANIC EXMOOR HILL FARM LAMB
The lambs, are from a traditional hill breed - Swaledale
ewes, x with Suffolk or Charolais rams. Naturally
born in fields & reared extensively on our farm's
hills and heather moor, some of the most spectacular
coast line in Britain, fattened on lush clover rich
grass producing superb tasty and succulent lamb to
organic standards. Lamb & Coriander Sausages
really scrummy, made using organic seasoning. Gluten
free also available. - National Trust Fine
