What excitement – we have just had installed a Bio-mass Boiler, it is the latest project for the farm and in keeping with our ethos here for a ‘Green’ environment. It will reduce our carbon footprint and the oil bills for heating.

We just heard our farm has won Commended in 2011 Beautiful Farm Awards.
The New Year at Hindon Organic Farm has started on a positive note.
Have not put news on line for sometime – but just had a just amazing walk on Monday4th Oct – part of the Exmoor Autumn Walking Festival there is also a Spring festival – guided walks at various places all over Exmoor. Hindon Farm was hosting a Walkers Brunch after walking the glorious rugged coast path – we graze this area so it is familiar but never get too much of that view over Bossington and the Bay to Porlock – and the weather was perfect – if not a little hot – sea was calm and the heather just about going over but still lovely.
A busy month from June to July- lots happening on the farm and busy also with with guests, the family in the cottage celebrating a 40th birthday had a BBQ with lots of our meat which they said was delicious, so dry at the moment I did say the hosepipe is on hand just in case!!!
